The owners of this somewhat upscale tract home had lived in it for thirty years while raising their four children. After a trip to Italy, they were inspired to upgrade their home and do so in an Italian country style. Both additions and subtractions were part of the design that transformed the confined five bedroom house into one with three bedrooms and significantly more gathering space for their now, growing immediate family. A rectangular building mass was reconfigured to increase visual appeal. There is a significant amount of detailing throughout the project, all authentic to the style and well crafted.
