Escondido Winery

Winery Architecture

A large agricultural parcel populated with the remnants of farm and residential structures that were destroyed by a wildfire, is being restored for agricultural use as a winery and guest facilities. Eighty percent of the site is planned for the planting of vineyards. For the remaining area the program includes placing Spanish influenced buildings into a park-like setting, creating a unique arrival experience when approaching the winery, barrel cave, or tasting room. Open spaces between buildings and within a created woodland, become use areas for picnicking and small events.
